A Panel Discussion entitled “Countries with Growing Economy Need Trade, not Aid” was held at Ace-IBS hall on January 30, 2019, Wednesday. Ace-IBS is indebted with respected panelists Mr Krishna Bahadur Manandhar, former deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank; Dr Dinesh Prasad Parajuli, Chief Executive Officer of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr Bijendra Man Shakya, Associate Professor of Economics and an Analyst in national and international Trade; Mr Kashyap Shakya, an Entrepreneur; and the moderator Mr Gyanendra Adhikari, a faculty of Economics for their acceptance to partake in the learning experience of our students. The discussion highlighted the importance of investment and trade in various sectors nationally and internationally; the scenario of Nepal Rastra Bank and the role playing by different kinds of Aid in the economy of Nepal. The students indeed had an insightful session!!
