Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Workshop @ Ace International Business School

With a goal to maximize use of online resources and facilitate Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) by adjunct faculty members, VLE Workshop was organized by Ace International Business School on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The workshop’s major objectives were to induce the faculty members to have remote access to QMU resources using Citrix, to design Hub site and use Grade Mark for evaluation of Turnitin Assignments; for both, formative as well as summative assignments, to design Rubric/Grading Form in order to assess the assignment. The workshop also included access of e-resources including journals and e-books via Shibboleth/institutional login.

During the workshop, participants intensely engaged in meeting the above mentioned objectives by observing demonstration of resources’ use and doing practical exercises. Thence, the workshop’s intended outcome of encouraging faculty members to intensify their use of the resources and VLE is expected to be achieved in the days to follow.
